We are currently looking for Expressions of Interest for upcoming Civil and Roading projects based around West Auckland. Our client is a large reputable Civil Company that is focused on quality, sustainability, and growth. 

The projects involve working in a team set up completing manual duties onsite, assisting with general civil labouring works as instructed by site supervisor and/or team leaders. 

Roles are physically demanding but highly rewarding working in a close-knit team that take pride in their work and more importantly completion of task as a team. 

Your day could involve 

• Digging and shovel works
• Asphalting
• Concreting / boxing
• Set up / pack down & site clean up
• Moving and unloading materials
• Other general labouring tasks as required

Key information

• Hours are 6.30am/7.00am starts 5pm finish, however as we head into the warmer weather there is an expectation of longer hours up to 6pm.
• Hourly rate $24-26ph
  • Experience applicants can earn up to 28ph.
• Work is Monday - Friday, there might be an odd Saturday which will be a half day
• On the job training provided and further opportunities to develop on offer.
• Our client thrives in team settings, you need to be a team player ready to put in a good days MAHI! But also, not afraid in between hours to pick up a broom and help during any down time.

Successful applicants will

• Be physically fit and able to do heavy, hands-on work
• Be comfortable working outdoors
• Have reliable transport to get to the work site each day
• Experience in the civil/roading/construction labouring ideal but training can be provided
• Must have Constructsafe certification (or happy to sit this - we can assist)
• Class 1, RTW would also be an advantage for further development
• Pass a pre-employment drug test
• Supply 2 contactable references
• Complete a Ministry of Justice check
