Caltex Kaikoura are currently recruiting for a Trade Qualified Automotive Mechanic to join their team. No two days are the same in a rural garage like Caltex Kaikoura. You will be expected to work on cars, boats, trucks and campervans.

We seek an applicant who:

• Has knowledge and experience with a variety of makes and models of vehicles
• Trade Qualification as an Automotive Mechanic or equivalent.
• Pays attention to detail and shows initiative to deliver outstanding customer experience.
• Works well in a team environment as well as autonomously
• Well-presented, punctual and responsible
• Good communication skills and a friendly disposition
• A current NZ driver's licence

Key responsibilities:

• Servicing, repairing and maintaining a wide range of vehicles.
• Diagnosing and resolving a wide range of issues and faults.
• Testing and reassembling mechanical parts after being repaired.
• Assisting with customer queries when required.
• Calling suppliers to source parts and pricing.
• Assisting in keeping the workshop clean and orderly.
