The Role

Our client who is based in the industrial area of Cromwell is seeking a keen and hardworking folder operator to manufacture flashings & gutters as required to meet customer demand. Their business is growing, so is looking for someone to become one of the team and develop into an all rounder in the factory. Duties

• Operating the folder.
• Loading and unloading trucks with forklift.
• Assisting with manufacturing of dowpipes, sheeting raw materials, and tray products.
• General factory duties including sweeping, clenaing equipment and tidying.
• Packing items for transportation on pallets. 

Days / Hours / Pay Band

Monday to Friday, 7:00am-5:00pm (Occasional Saturday during busy periods)

Pay Band - $30 - $34 depending on experience. 

This is an on-going role with a permanent opportunity for the right candidate. 

Skills and Attributes

• Must have a clean Class 1 drivers licence.
• A forklift licence is advantagous (however, company will put you through the course if the suitable).
• Gantry crane experience and qualification is advantagous but happy to train for the right person.
• Competent at reading measurements and numeracy.
• Physically fit and able to work on the feet for 8 hours a day.
• Health, safety and self awareness. 
• Great communication
