The role:

We are looking for a repair technician to join the afternoon process team which involves inspecting and repairing wooden pallets. This is a physical role in a challenging environment but full training is provided.

 Duties include but are not limited to the following: 

• Pushing/pulling pallets on and off conveyor belts.
• Examining pallets for defects.
• Removing broken planks and fixing new timber to the product.
• Using a nail gun and other tools.
• Moving and sorting materials as required.

Days and Hours:

Afternoon Shift: Monday to Friday 2.30pm - 10.30pm

Requirements: 

• Someone who enjoys working with hand tools is preferred
• Physically fit
• Pass a pre-employment drug test
• Willing to undergo a Ministry of Justice background check
• Willing to undergo an ACC history check
