The Role 

Are you an experienced labourer / operator ready to make a real impact on local civil projects? We are looking for an Operator/ Labourer to work alongside our Foreman, using your skills to help deliver quality infrastructure to the Manawatu region. If you're confident with heavy machinery and ready to take on hands-on tasks, this could be the role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate WTR machinery
• Support the Foreman with civil site set-ups, pack-downs, and general operations.
• Lend a hand with physical labour on-site as required to ensure smooth project execution.

What We Offer:

• Weekly pay, starting ASAP
• Opportunities for permanent employment, though initially this is a seasonal role.

Hours:

• Typically Monday to Saturday, 6 am to 6 pm, with a half day on Saturdays.
• Flexibility is key, as work hours may adjust depending on project demands and weather conditions.

What You'll Need:

• WTR endorsement and Class 2+ full licences are beneficial
• Experience operating heavy machinery (diggers, rollers) is highly beneficial.
• Physically fit and ready to get involved in hands-on work.
• Ability to pass a Ministry of Justice check and drug test.
