HEAVY MACHINERY OPERATOR

We are seeking skilled Heavy Machinery Operators to support our clients' project, based in South Auckland.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a variety of machinery, including Moxy, Digger, and Spreader. This role offers long working hours with shifts available from Monday to Friday, as well as Saturdays.

Pay Rates - $34 to $38 per hour, based on experience

Duties

• Safely operate various heavy machinery (Moxy, Digger, Spreader, etc.)
• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment
• Follow project plans and instructions from supervisors
• Ensure efficient and effective operation to meet project deadlines
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations
• Assist with site preparation and other construction-related tasks as needed

Skills and Experience

• Excellent physical fitness
• Proven experience operating a variety of heavy machinery
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and plans
• Attention to detail to ensure safety and precision in operations
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members and supervisors
• Strong understanding of machinery operation and maintenance

Successful Applicants must

• Be happy to do hands-on work 
• Have a valid NZ Drivers License (Class 2 minimum)
• Have your Wheels, Tracks & Rollers Endorsements
• Have a proven history of Heavy Machinery experience
• Return a satisfactory criminal check & pass a pre-employment drug test
