We are currently looking for an experienced CNC Press Brake Operator to join our sheet metal engineering client in Christchurch. This role starts ASAP and will go for approximately 3 months, however it could go longer for the right candidate. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a CNC press brake machine according to job specifications
• Reading and interpreting basic engineering drawings
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
• Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines

Skills and Experience Required:

• Any previous press brake operating for sheet metal 
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and basic drawings to ensure quality parts are produced
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
